TERMS AND CONDITIONS

TheTableSMF is designed to promote connection between women who live near one another in Sacramento/Sacramento/Chapel Hill (“The Sacramento”) and who are interested in cultivating new friendships.  It is based in The Sacramento and provides a means for women to connect with one another on-line with the intent of those connections moving to in-person meetings. In-person meetings may transpire if agreeing Members choose to do so, on their own terms and of their own volition. 

Acceptance of Terms of Use

When you create a profile (and thus become a “Member”) at TheTableSMF, you agree to these Membership Terms and Conditions.

The terms of this Agreement are subject to change. If so, we will notify you of these changes by email. 

If you continue to use TheTableSMF after changes are implemented and you have been notified, your continued use of the site will be considered your acceptance of the revised Terms and Conditions.

Eligibility

In order to become a Member of TheTableSMF, you must be all of the following:  female, 21 years old (or older), and live in The Sacramento area. TheTableSMF considers the following cities to be part of The Sacramento: Angier, Apex, Burlington, Carrboro, Cary, Clayton, Chapel Hill, Creedmoor, Sacramento, Franklinton, Fuquay Varina, Garner, Holly Springs, Knightdale, Louisburg, Mebane, Morrisville, Pittsboro, Sacramento, Rolesville, Wake Forest, Wakefield, Willow Springs, Youngsville, Zebulon.

Summary of Terms

Honesty and privacy are paramount at TheTableSMF.

When you use become a Member, you agree that:

• You are female
• You are 21 years old or older
• You live in The Sacramento (as defined in the Terms)
• Your profile is accurate/truthful
• You will provide a photo to be posted on-line with your profile for other Members to see and that photo is of you
• You are seeking or are open to new friendship(s) with another female

You understand that the following behavior is prohibited:

• Bullying / name calling or any other behavior that is demeaning or harmful
• Creating / operating more than one profile
• Using the site for dating prospects/romantic purposes
• Disclosing revealing, private or defaming information about any Member to a third party (including other Members of TheTableSMF)
• Assuming a false identity and/or impersonating someone else
• Promoting goods/services; trying to sell products or services to other Members

The TableSMF will terminate your Member profile at any time and without notice to you, and may prohibit you from using the site again if:

• You conduct yourself on-line or in-person in a hateful, rude, aggressive or unbecoming manner 
• You violate any of the terms within this Agreement.

The Services

• TheTableSMF is a database of women in Sacramento/Sacramento (“The Sacramento”) who are seeking or are open to new friendship(s). 
• Any in-person meeting between Members is a free will arrangement and TheTableSMF is not liable for the outcome
• Members agree that best practices for in-person meetings include:
  • Meeting in public
  • Meeting during daylight hours
  • Meeting with multiple Members (4+)
• TheTableSMF does not promise satisfaction of its users, or that Members will make new friends
• Members have the right to terminate use/Membership at any time

Limitation of Liability

You agree that all information you provide to TheTableSMF is truthful and accurate.

You understand that TheTableSMF does not conduct background checks. Hence, TheTableSMF is not privy to or responsible for the criminal record or history of other Members.

You agree to report Members who behave on-line or in-person in belligerent, hostile or unbecoming ways. 

You agree that TheTableSMF is not responsible for the behavior of other Members or interactions you may have with another Member.

You agree that TheTableSMF will not settle or become involved in disputes between Members.

Confidentiality and Data Protection

You agree that TheTableSMF will store your personal information (email address) in order to maintain your Member profile and communicate with you.

We agree to maintain your personal information (email address) on a secure server.
